Gizo is a product of Gizo Ltd, a company registered in Kenya. This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website and what we do with it.
01. What we collect
When you contact us, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, company, work email, phone number if you give one, your role, your country, the type of platform, the number of merchants on it, and your message. This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits and Vercel Speed Insights to measure how fast pages load. They do not use cookies and do not identify you. The fonts load from this site, not from a third party.
02. Why we collect it
We use it to reply to you and to plan early access for platforms and lenders. We rely on your consent, which you give when you send the form. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for anything that is not related to your request.
03. Who sees it
The Gizo team. An email delivery provider sends your request to us. It processes the data for us and can do so on servers outside Kenya.
04. Merchant data
This website does not collect merchant sales data. When Gizo goes live, platforms will share merchant data only after the merchant gives consent. A separate notice will cover that data.
05. How long we keep it
We keep it for 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a partner. Then your agreement applies. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
06. Your rights
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you. You can ask us to correct it or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Write to us at the address below. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
