An advance that the merchant repays from sales

The merchant gets an amount now. They repay it with a fixed share of each day's sales. The offer shows the charge, the total cost and the APR before they accept.

How the advance works

Four rules for every advance

01

One charge. The merchant sees the charge, the total and the APR before they accept.

02

Repayment is a fixed share of daily sales. A slow day means a smaller payment.

Close ridges in low light

03

Early repayment carries no penalty. The merchant can repay in full at any time.

A soft crease catches the light

04

Each offer sets its own terms, from the merchant's sales history.

How is an advance different from bank credit?

There is no fixed monthly instalment and no collateral. The merchant repays a share of daily sales, so a slow day means a smaller payment. A licensed lender provides the advance, and its agreement shows the total cost and the APR.

What if sales stop?

Repayment is a share of sales, so the payment goes down when sales go down. Each offer also states a minimum amount to repay in each period. The merchant sees it before they accept.

Can a merchant repay early?

Yes, at any time and without a penalty. The lender's agreement shows how early repayment changes the total cost.

Can a merchant get a second advance?

Yes. When most of an advance is repaid, Gizo can make a new offer from the latest sales.

Who funds the advance?

Licensed partner lenders fund every advance. We will name them before launch.
